Hog Roast – April 11, 2026

We have set the date for the 2026 Hog Roast. It will be on April 11. Dinner will be served from 4-8pm. Pulled pork with all the sides you love. Live auction begins at 6pm featuring handcrafted items from local artisans, including many members of the church. Proceeds from the auction benefit missions, youth and church facility improvement.

Scam Prevention – March 17 at noon

At noon on **date change** Tuesday March 17, CES Credit Union will offer a presentation on scam prevention. Come learn how to protect yourself against scammers, especially those targeting seniors. Join us early at 11:30 and enjoy a free Souper Tuesday soup-n-sandwich.

Youth Confirmation Class

Youth who were baptized as young children have the opportunity to learn more about their Christian faith prior to being Confirmed. Classes meet monthly and cover questions youth may have on topics such as the Bible, the Creed, discipleship, Jesus, and other faith traditions. In their final class, confirmands will write their own Credo (statement of belief), then they will confirm their vows at the Pentecost service. Classes meet from 12:00-2:00 pm on the following Sundays: Nov 9, Dec 21, Jan 11, Feb 8, Mar 8, Apr 12 and May 12. Confirmation will be at the 10:30 service on Pentecost

“Souper Tuesday” Senior’s Lunch

** Update ** Our February 17th lunch has been cancelled so we can all celebrate the life of our dear friend and lifelong Highwater Member Larry Baughman. Please plan to join us in March. On the 3rd Tuesday of each month from Oct – Mar, WISH (Women in Service at Highwater) will offer a free soup-n-sandwich lunch at 11:30am. Come and bring a friend! Open to all seniors (age 55+) in our area. At our March 17 lunch, we will have a speaker, Jim McLaughlin of CES Federal Credit Union, on Cyber Threats and Identity Theft. No reservation needed.

Connect Youth Group

Our ecumenical Connect Youth Group meets on the first Sunday of each month from 6:30-8:00pm, and different churches take turns hosting. Come for fun, snacks and faithful fellowship! For youth grades 6 -12. Bring a friend! ** No Connect Youth April 5 due to Easter Sunday”

WISH

WISH (Women in Service at Highwater) meets the second Monday of most months at 6:30pm at the church. All women of the community are invited to join us.

Book Club

Join us for our book club that meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 in the church narthex (lobby). For our meeting on January 6, we are reading The Last Flight by Julie Clark.

Genealogy Club

The Genealogy Club meets monthly on the 3rd Tuesday at 6:30 pm. We meet next on September 18th in the church library. All are welcome to come learn about resources to discover your roots from our resident expert – Eydie Keim.

Community Drop-In Center Volunteers Needed

The Community Drop-In Center at Trinity Lutheran Church are in need of volunteers. The church is located at 592 West Main Street. The center offers a safe space for people to connect to resources.
