Hog Roast & Auction – April 20


Click the link to see the partial list of auction items up for sale Saturday night at Highwater Congregational Church at 1213 Dutch Lane… Newark… Ohio. Dinner is served from 4pm-7pm. AUCTION will follow the Basket Bonanza which starts at 6pm.

Confirmation Class to meet April 21 at 4pm


On Sunday, April 21, the Confirmation Class will meet from 4-5pm. We will cover the other Faith, Traditions unit. Special guest will be Tarah Goodman

New Bible Study starts April 18


The new Bible Study will be meeting on Thursdays at 11am starting April 18. We will meet at the church. The book is called, “The Walk” by Adam Hamilton. The book study will last 6 weeks. Mary Jo Layman will be leading the discussions.

Licking County Homemakers Luncheon, April 16


WISH (Women in Service at Highwater) will be providing and serving this meal. Please contact Janet goodman or Kathy Preston to how you can help.

Christmas Eve worship services


Highwater Church will have three worship services on December 24, the 4th Sunday of Advent. Please mark your calendars for 10:30am; 5:00pm, and 11:00pm. The Candle Light services will be in the evening.

Blue Christmas service December 20


There will be a Blue Christmas service at 7pm on December 20 at the 2nd Presbyterian Church (42 East Church Street, Newark). This ecumenical service is sponsored by the Newark Area Ministerial Assocition is a time for those struggling to find joy in the holiday season, a space to grieve losses, and a service of rest for the weary soul. All are welcome to seek peache and solace.

Timbuk Farms to host Church Potluck


Please join Highwater Church at Timbuk Farms at 6 pm on December 10 (Sunday). There will be picture taking stations, the greenhouse will be open for Christmas shopping and Mary Miller will be providing music.
