Summer Lunch Mission Project

Highwater will once again be participating in the Summer Lunch program in St. Louisville from May 26-Aug 17. This program provides meals to children in our community during the summer. We will be serving on Tuesdays from 12-1pm at the ballpark shelter house and will again do walking tacos. Please sign up at the signup link below or use the QR code to scan and sign up. Vacation Bible School begins June 23

Jesus loves messy people! That’s good news for us, because we all have our own messes. What a Mess! VBS! is about how Jesus deals with our messes; our sins, mistakes, and weaknesses. All the while, we are going to have lots of messy fun, with messy snacks, games, crafts, and more! The 2026 VBS will run from Tuesday June 23 – Thursday June 25, from 9am – noon daily. Shoot. Play. Connect.

Highwater will host an open gym for Basketball or other activities on March 15, 2026 from 11:30am – 1:00pm. A light pizza lunch will be provided. All ages are welcome!

Hog Roast – April 11, 2026

We have set the date for the 2026 Hog Roast. It will be on April 11. Dinner will be served from 4-8pm. Pulled pork with all the sides you love. Live auction begins at 6pm featuring handcrafted items from local artisans, including many members of the church. Proceeds from the auction benefit missions, youth and church facility improvement.

Live Nativity Experience

SUNDAY DECEMBER 6, 2025 – 6:30-7:30PM For unto us a child is born…” – Isaiah 9:6 Step back in time and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas! Enjoy music, cookies & cocoa, and (of course) the nativity scenes portrayed by our Highwater Youth.

Youth Confirmation Class

Youth who were baptized as young children have the opportunity to learn more about their Christian faith prior to being Confirmed. Classes meet monthly and cover questions youth may have on topics such as the Bible, the Creed, discipleship, Jesus, and other faith traditions. In their final class, confirmands will write their own Credo (statement of belief), then they will confirm their vows at the Pentecost service. Classes meet from 12:00-2:00 pm on the following Sundays: Nov 9, Dec 21, Jan 11, Feb 8, Mar 8, Apr 12 and May 12. Confirmation will be at the 10:30 service on Pentecost

Trunk or Treat – Oct 26 at 11:30am

The entire neighborhood is invited to join us for Trunk or Treat on October 26, 2025 at 11:30am (after the 10:30 worship service). Costumes encouraged. Adults: new this year – trunk decorating contest! The most creatively decorated trunk – as judged by the Christian Education team – will win a “fabulous” prize!

Connect Youth Group

Our ecumenical Connect Youth Group meets on the first Sunday of each month from 6:30-8:00pm, and different churches take turns hosting. Come for fun, snacks and faithful fellowship! For youth grades 6 -12. Bring a friend! Next Connect is Sunday May 3, 6:30-8:00pm, here at Highwater.
