Rev. Jeff Gill to preach January 4, 2026


Rev. Jeff Gill will be in the pulpit on Sunday, January 4th while Pastor Gladys takes a much needed rest. Jeff will preach at both the 8:30am and 10:30am services.

ADVENT: The Redemption of Scrooge


Advent begins November 30. This advent we will explore how Charles Dicken’s classic novel A Christmas Carol can help us find and embrace the hope, peace, joy and love we need now. A Christmas Carol is a story of brokenness and redemption. The beginning of the story is dark—the book opens with the words “Marley was dead.” We soon meet Marley, former partner of the main character Ebenezer Scrooge, as a ghost. Marley’s ghost promises Scrooge that a trio of ghosts will be visiting him, and the reader is to presume that none of the visits will be pleasant. Scrooge

Hanging of the Greens


SUNDAY NOVEMBER 23, 2025 AT 11:30AM Annual Holiday Tradition Hanging of the Greens marks the beginning of the holiday season with beautiful decorations throughout the church. We need you! All ages are welcome to join in decorating and enjoy meaningful fellowship with others from the church family.

All Saints Day Observance


On Sunday November 2nd, during the 10:30am service, we will honor those Saints in our lives who have gone to their eternal reward. Please submit names to be honored in the binder at church or by contacting Pastor Gladys.

“Rally Sunday” September 7, 2025


Our fall season starts September 7th with a return to two worship services at 8:30am and 10:30am. Sunday School for the kiddos resumes during the 10:30 worship. Connect Youth group resumes that evening with our first monthly event at 6:30pm at Newark Central Christian Church.

Rural Sunday / Recognition Sunday


Sunday, May 25 – One Service at 10:30 in Shelter House.  It is graduation Sunday (honoring our graduates) and Rural Sunday. Bring your lawn chairs for comfortable seating
