Kids…. bring your backpacks for a special blessing on Sunday, August 20th at 9:30am. Pastor Gladys will hand out laminated backpack tags during the Worship Service.

Beanbag Baseball, Hot Dogs and Fair Awards August 27
Come and enjoy some summertime fun following the 9:30am worship service. Youth exhibiting at the 2023 Hartford Fair are encouraged to bring their trophies and ribbons to display for the congregation.
RALLY DAY IS SEPTEMBER 10
Rally Day is September 10. We will begin our fall schedule starting with an 8:30am and 10:30am worship services. At 11:30am, we will celebrate with a Carnival including a Bounce House and an Ice Cream Social. Bring your family and friends for a day of celebration.
Highwater Church goes to the Hartford Fair
On Sunday, August 6th, Opening Day, members of Highwater Church will wear matching T-Shirts and hand out Barn Blessing Bags to 4-H Youth. We are collecting toothpaste, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, and chapstick. We will put an assortment of supplies in each of the bags. Please contact Abby Shipley, Janine Shipley or bring your donations to the church. We will be stuffing bags the last week of July so that they are ready for the fair. We hope to have over 200 Barn Blessing Bags to hand out. Get e’m while they’re hot! Order your Highwater T-shirt by July 21st
Women in Service at Highwater (WISH)
At their last meeting, WISH decided to match donations up to $5000 to fund the Carpet Project in the Legg Center. Once collected, we can proceed with replacing the 30 year old carpet. Please put Building fund in the memo portion of your check.
Highwater Pickleball on Thursdays

WISH will meet WEDNESDAY, July 5
Women In Service at Highwater (WISH) will meet WEDNESDAY, July 5, at 5:00pm at the home of Sheila Geiling, Master Gardener, at 3233 Marion Road, Utica, Ohio. We will tour her gardens and learn about her many varieties of plants and flowers. After the presentation, we will travel to the home of Phyllis Buxton, to enjoy a meal together. Please bring a side dish to share. All women are invited to attend.
WISH II QUILT GUILD
WISH II Quilt Guild will meet Wednesday, July 12, at 6:30pm in the church Narthex. Quilters gather to talk and share the quilts they have made.
Blood Drive set for June 24
The American Red Cross will be having a Blood Drive on Saturday, June 24 from 8am – 12pm at Highwater Congregational Church. Download the App,”Blood Donor”, to sign up and do your Rapid Pass online before arrival. You may also click on the link above to register. The American Red Cross has an urgent need for blood donors. Every 2 Seconds, someone in the U.S. Needs Blood. Your Blood Donation Can Help Save Lives. Book Club set for July 11
We are reading “Beartown” by Fredrik Bachman. We will meet at 6:30pm in the church Narthex. Please note: we are meeting a week later because the 4th of July falls on the first Tuesday.
