Blood Drive Scheduled for February 11


Our next blood drive will be SATURDAY, February 11th, 8 am – 1pm, in the Legg Center. Schedule your appointment online at the American Red Cross.

Pumpkin Carving and Euchre Night


The Fellowship Ministry has scheduled an event for October 21 for church family and friends. Pumpkin carving begins at 6pm with safety knives. Euchre begins at 7pm. Legend Hills Orchard is providing pumpins and apple cider. The Ministry will provide shredded chicken sandwiches, chips, and a drink. Adults are encouraged to bring snacks to share. Hanging of the Greens


On Sunday, November 20, following the 10:30am worship service, we will decorate the church for the holidays. A light lunch will be available for our hungry volunteers. All are welcome All are needed.

Annual Congregational Meeting – Nov. 13


Immediately following each worship service, in accordance with our by-laws, we will hold our annual meetings on Sunday, November 13, 2022. The purpose of the meeting is to elect officers and ministry chairperson, adopt the 2023 budget, and approve the financial management policy.

WISH to meet November 14


Women in Service at Highwater met at the home of Marcie Williams in September. Next meeting is planned for November 14 at Highwater Congregational Church.. Call Janet Goodman for information.

Sausage and Pancake Breakfast Enjoyed


The Fellowship Ministry hosted a Sausage and Pancake Breakfast on SEPTEMBER 18 in the Legg Center. The food was great and the fellowship was enjoyed by all.

WISH to Quilt


Our monthly quilt guild meeting will be Wednesday, October 12 at 6:30pm in the Legg Center at Highwater Congregational Church. We had 33 members and friends present in September. Mission projects include making pillow covers and collecting Care Packages for New Beginnings in Newark and the House of New Hope in St. Louisville. A quilt retreat is scheduled for October 11-12 at Somewhere Sewing in Millersburg, Ohio. A Highwater Church Quilt Retreat is tentatively scheduled for November 11-12.

Book Club set for November 1


Book Club will meet at Highwater Congregational Church in the Narthex at 6:30pm on Tuesday, November 1. The book we will be discussing is “Lessons on Chemistry” by Bonnie Garmus. Bring a friend.

Mystery Trip to Croton and Hartville, Ohio


Patsy Farmer and Cindy Campbell and friends took a Mystery Trip on October 1 to of all places Croton, Ohio… home of Muller Piper Organ Company. It is a family owned company in existence since 1919. They create and install new pipe organs and also restore historic pipe organs. In addition they provide rutine tuning and maitenance. From Croton, we traveled to the Hartville Thrift Shoppe, the Hartville Kitchen Restaurant & Bakery for a delicious lunch. We shopped at Hartville Market Place, the Hartville Hardware, and enjoyed a Scavenger Hunt in downtown Hartville. It was a delightful day full of
