Women’s Retreat registration now open


Saturday, October 19 Women’s Retreat 9:30a – 4:30p at Wilmington College – Revs. Torie Front and Gladys Davis will lead a women’s retreat. Cost is $50 for the Retreat and includes continental breakfast and lunch. There is an optional Friday night fellowship at the General Denver Hotel. Register at https://forms.gle/49odLyRm2dGHWFFZA

Ohio Star Theater in Sugarcreek in October


Twenty tickets have been reserved for the 1:00pm show. The cost is $65 per person, which includes lunch and theater tickets. We will meet at the church and carpool to Sugarcreek. Contact Kathy Preston at 740-644-2217. Please order your tickets by August 11.

Mystery Trip slated for August 20


Cindy Campbell and Patsy Farmer have promised another fun filled day on Highwater’s Annual Mystery Trip. Details will be provided on August 20… on the bus. Make checks payable to Cindy Campbell. Price per person is $90.00. Currently there is a waiting list to go.

Hog Roast Nets Over $21,000


Per Hog roast chairman, Janet Goodman, the event grossed $23,419 on April 20, 2024. Net Income was $21,505. Thanks goes to all the church volunteers, those that made or donated items for the auction, the families and friends who attended the event and especially Janet Goodman for leading the way! Money raised will fund Christian Education programs, Missions, and help pay for a new sign at the church.

Homer Aumni Banquet set for May 18 at 7pm

New Bible Study starts April 18


The new Bible Study will be meeting on Thursdays at 11am starting April 18. We will meet at the church. The book is called, “The Walk” by Adam Hamilton. The book study will last 6 weeks. Mary Jo Layman will be leading the discussions.

Licking County Homemakers Luncheon, April 16

Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt on March 31


Following the 8:30am worship service on Easter, we will host an Easter Brunch at 9:30am. The annual Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled at 10:00am. If you would like to donate food for the brunch or candy and prizes for the Egg Hunt, please contact the church or sign-up in the church binder.
