Our ecumenical Connect Youth Group meets on the first and third Sundays of each month during the school year from 6:30-8:00pm, and different churches take turns hosting. Come for fun, snacks and faithful fellowship! For youth grades 6 -12. Bring a friend! Next Connect is Sunday September 6, 6:30-8:00pm.
Our fall season starts September 7th with a return to two worship services at 8:30am and 10:30am. Sunday School for the kiddos resumes during the 10:30 worship. Connect Youth group resumes that evening with our first monthly event at 6:30pm at Newark Central Christian Church.
Highwater will be participating in the July 4th parade in Granville. To participate, meet at the staging area, on West Broadway near Wildwood Park. Look for the Goodman’s antique red truck. Parade steps off at 10:45am.
VBS is next week – Monday June 23rd – Thursday 26th, 9am – noon. Join us for an experience of life as Jesus might have experienced it as a young boy. Hear stories about Jesus from his mother Mary, find a craft in the marketplace, and meet some new friends. Registration at https://highwaterchurch.org/youth/
A week of volunteering at a variety of locally based charities alongside youth from other nearby churches. For middle and high school aged youth, including rising 6th graders. Sunday, February 2 – 6:30pm – Connect Youth Group will meet at Highwater. We will be making sandwiches for the Salvation Army in addition to games and snacks.
Highwater Youth will present a Live Outdoor Nativity on December 15 from 6:00pm-7:30pm.
On Sunday, November 17, at 6:30pm, we will have a Bible Study for kids, youth and adults.
